Pats issue Andre Carter's #93

So this looks like its the final nail in the Andre Carter coffin. I had been holding out hope all summer that he would somehow recover from that horrific quad injury (he said he had to re-learn how to walk) and sign with the Pats once training camp opened. From everything I'm hearing, it sounds as though he is progressing, just not enough for any team to want to take a shot at him yet. Feel bad for the guy; he was phenomenal last year for the Pats. Some could argue (ME ME ME) that he was the Pats best and most impactful defensive player before his injury. He always came up with the timely play when we needed it and  his sacks were meaningful, impactful (there is that word again) plays. Aka the opposite of Mark Anderson. Anyway,  my girlfriends cousin ended up getting close to their family for the year he was here and from everything I heard, they sound like great people. Best of luck to Carter. Sad he wont be back.
