Boring Day of Camp
Pretty pissed at today. First day of media availability and the beat has been pretty quiet. Gronk made a big catch, but apparently the big development has been Tavon Wilson. He was getting a lot of reps. As you all remember, he was the 2nd round pick most (but not Belichick) had ranked as a mid to late rounder. Obviously, Belichick didn't feel the same as the rest of the league and thinks he is going to be the "big nickel" safety. Basically, he is the 3rd safety that should get a lot of playing time (I'm guessing around 40% of snaps). If he can warrant that 2nd round pick and some other things break our way, we could have a top 10 secondary. This may be the homer in me speaking, but I think our secondary was overratedly bad last year, and with Ras-I comin back and the additions we've made, I think we can be solid. All in al, boring ass day of camp; hope tomorrow is better.
